Keeping up with a blog isn't as easy as I thought! I am mainly doing this to keep track of the workouts I'm doing, so I'm going to log the last two days before I forget!
On Monday, I went to the JCC and met my mom there. Before she got there I did 30 minutes on the elliptical (I ate pretty junky Sunday - Eliza and I cleaned and organized my dressing room and bedroom upstairs and found chocolate, which we ate, in the process!).
30 min elliptical:
Interval setting (6-8 low and 12-14 high)
Women's only Workout Class:
Mix of compound movements with weights to work out the whole body
Used 12 lbs, 6 lbs, and a 15 lb body bar
3 Sets of:
20, 15, 15 Cable Rows (90, 100, 110 lbs)
10, 10, 10 TRX Chest Press
10, 10, 10 Straight Leg Raises
Ashtanga Yoga Class:
Sort of disappointed - did not really like the teacher referring to poses and people as delicious and juicy...
Hot Tub:
10 minutes
Sauna:
10 minutes
All in all, it was good to take a couple classes and mix it up a little. The sauna felt amazing. I'd like to find a yoga class I like to take at least once a week and then go in the
